The place is unique and, admittedly, the epicentre of the coffee world. As the largest and most extensive wild coffee forest in the world (167,021 hectares), Yayu is a treasure trove of genetic resources and coffee biodiversity for Ethiopians and the world. Limmu coffee grows at an elevation of 1900-2100 MASL and having a citric acidity, with soft berry undertones and chocolate-floral notes. The flavour is generally characterized by a balanced and clean cup.
